"...I walk in solemn dignity among the perfection of the frozen world, where wind speaks its unending lulling melodies to the sleeping trees, where birds fall frozen from the iced branches to my feet. I think about the Sun - how it rises up shining every morning, how it falls from heavens every night, - and it pleases my heart to know that, safely kept under rich friendly clounds, the snow-covered earth will never receive its poisonous rays. Infinity knows, I've put so much time, so much hard work into creating, conducting and regulating; now I will take not a single step back.
...I also think about all the little things crawling now my lands - how they, weak and pathetic, continue to breath, eat and struggle; and how eventually they all receive the present of despair, give up and die. They call me the Evil of the Magical Kingdom, the Enchantress of wolves and snow storms, the Witch; I am fear that mothers carry in their bones. I call myself the finality, the inevitability; I am the worst that could happen. I like little boys though, I admit; I like to anesthetize them with my coldness and then to eat their sweet spoilt hearts..."
